long or small and round.
The Nantes area is the number one producer
in France and represents 90% of national
production. It is exported to various European
countries especially Germany.
Lamb's lettuce cultivation dates back to the 17th
century and its success in the area is due to the
Loire sand which constitutes the ideal product for
lamb's lettuce cultivation.
