A wine drunk at room
temperature is served at a temperature of 15 to 16°
C, which was normal room temperature in our grandparents'
time.
Champagne is never drunk ice-cold, but
should be chilled to 6-8° C for twenty minutes in a
bucket filled with water and ice (to open a bottle of
Champagne, remove the cap, loosen the wire cap, place the
bottle at an angle of 45° and pull the cork while
rotating the bottle slightly downwards).
