West of France the climate is oceanic, rainfall is spread out over the year but is rarely intense. Winters are mild and the region enjoys on the whole a large sunshine.

The further we go from coasts, the less you feel the atlantic influence and the more seasons are significant. Colder winters and warmer summers. Rainfall are less heavy than on coasts.
